Over our 12 Days of Christmas, many of you collected some
or all of our Sugar Basket recipes to make adorable 8" finished blocks.
Forget your kitchen utensils, and
let's get cooking with some sweet Sugar Basket blocks
and bake up the the most delicious quilting projects for eyes to feast on all season!

This Sugar Basket Quilt is a great way to create something beautiful with your blocks.
If you have collected all 12 recipes, you can make one of each block and create a sampler quilte like this one. If you only collected a few recipes, no worries! Just repeat the blocks for a total of 12.
Sugar Baskets Quilt size: 55¾" x 54¼"
Fabric Requirements
Blocks: fat quarter bundle from Strawberries and Cream Fabric Collection Setting Triangles: 1 yard A-355-NE
Sashing: 1/2 yard A-354-LE
Borders: 1 yard A-9848-LR
Sugar Basket Quilt Cutting Directions
Blocks: 12 blocks 8½" x 8½" unfinished
Setting Triangles: 18 Quarter Square Triangles cut twice diagonally from 5 squares 12½" x 12½"
12 Half Square Triangles cut once diagonally from 6 squares 6½" x 6½"
Sashing: 5 strips 3" x WOF sewn together and cut into 4 rectangles 3" x 45¾"
Borders: 5 strips 5½" x WOF sewn together and cut into 2 border strips 5½" x 44¼" (top and bottom) and 2 border strips 5½" x 55¾" (sides)
Arrange your blocks and setting triangles, and sew them into columns.
Add sashing between the columns, then finish your quilt by adding borders.
You can also make smaller projects
from your blocks like this cute table runner
just using setting triangles!
