Crystal Farm – A Sneak Peek

It felt so good when I got to hold my new fabric collection, “Crystal Farm” for the first time. This group for Andover fabrics is inspired by a beautiful farm in Michigan. Sitting in the middle of rolling bluegrass hills you’ll find the charming “Crystal Farm”, is a very special place to me. Each time I visit Crystal Farm, I can’t help but to be filled with love and joy.

I hope this new fabric collection can inspire you in the same way with its wonderful variety of prints in soothing blues, sweetheart pink and chestnut browns.

Country Living is one of the free patterns that will be available with this collection. You will be able to download it from Andover’s website. We will announce when the pattern is available, and our readers will be the first to know!

Berry Patch is a smaller project with a touch of applique. I used a package of “Crystal Farm” silhouettes which will be available in October with the release of the collection.

Twinkle Star is a great example of how nice this collection compliments other fabrics, like my “Blue Sky” collection.

In Lucky Charm, the pinks from Crystal Farm add that special touch to my favorite blues.

Made in USA is perfect for a beginner quilter. I can’t wait to teach this to my friends!

Crystal Star is sure to be a show stopper. For this one, I used 2 packages of Crystal Farm silhouettes to add a whimsical feel to the center and the corners of the quilt.

When making the Barn Door quilt you are sure to enjoy mixing and matching all of the delightful prints and colors from Crystal Farm collection. I really enjoy the soft green for a background.

For a small project, I chose a pillow pattern. In no time, you will have a brood of peeps of your own!

I wish I could get this fabric into your hands sooner, but all good things come to those who wait! In the meantime, visit your local quilt store and inquire if they would consider having Crystal Farm collection on their shelves. Click here to see the catalog. Which patterns and fabrics are your favorite? I would love to read your feedback. Please leave us a comment below!

Saw the Crystal Star design in ‘Today’s Quilter (UK) and on your site. Are you planning to offer a pattern and if not are you able to tell us what size the diamonds are and the completed star plus gorgeous corner and central designs. Just love it.
    Hope to hear from you.

Since I saw the catalogue of ‘Crystal Farm’ I can’t get it out of my mind. Blue Sky fabrics just arrived and now a fabric line in my favorite colours. Thanks for your beautyful designs.

I was looking forward to seeing you here in Denver in August but I gather it’s not to be. Perhaps you can make it later in the year. In the meantime, several of us are looking forward to the release of Blue Sky fabric. There’s quite a fan club here.

The fabrics in your new line are all beautiful & it was too hard to pick a favorite fabric. The whole line works so well together & is so versatile. I do have many favorites in the new quilt patterns. I love Crystal Star & I think it would be a challenge to piece which I also love. Then there’s Made In USA which I love for its simplicity. Barn Door is another favorite & I also love the green background but I could see using blue as background & replacing the blue in the pattern with the green. So many ways to use your fabrics in this pattern. Then there’s Wildflower & Berry Patch with the beautiful applique. Using your Quilter’s Canvas would be amazing & make the applique so much easier. I do have a question about the lines used for marking the fabric…is it permanent? Thank you again for your creativity in designing fabrics that are beautiful!

This is the lovely type of collection I have learned to expect from you. The subtlety of colors and fabric designs you select are exquisite – calm, yet vibrant, never boring. They play well with “others” even when I am doing our guild’s Community service projects with leftover scraps. I never hesitate to buy them because I know I will enjoy using every little bit of them.

I love the patterns for country living and lucky charm. But it was hard to choose since I like most of your patterns. And I hope to find some of your fabrics in quiltshops in the Netherlands

Your talent continues to shine! The fabrics and patterns in your new line reflect your graceful spirit and continue to inspire. I like the way they blend with the colors and designs of many of your previous lovely creations. Your delicate appliqué designs are pleasingly recognizable as Laundry Basket treasures and are my favorite of all you do.

I love all the colors and hope one of the LQS’s in the Lansing area will carry the line. My favorite patterns are Country Living and Berry Patch. Truly I like them all, but picked two as my favorites. Michigan misses you!
