Steps to Make a Quilted House Block

1. Layer the House Block
Place the House block backing right side down.
Add the batting on top.
Place the House block top right side up.

2. Quilt the Layers
Quilt through all layers as desired.
Trim the batting and backing so they are even with the quilted House front.

3. Finish the Bottom Edge
Bind the bottom edge of the quilted house block.

4. Prepare the Back Piece
Cut the back piece the same size as the house block plus 1½" extra at the bottom.
Roll and stitch the bottom edge of the back piece to finish it.

5. Assemble the House
Place the quilted house front and back right sides together.
Stitch around the edges, leaving the bottom open for turning.
Lock your stitches at the beginning and end.

6. Trim and Turn
Gently trim seam allowances at the points to reduce bulk.
Turn the house right side out.
Push corners out fully and press for a neat finish.
