Mystery Quilt 2025 - Week 8

We’ve reached week 8 in our Mystery Quilt 2025 journey, and the excitement is building! This week, we’re constructing charming house blocks, using flying geese units as the roofs. As each quilt grows, it’s rewarding to see how everyone's unique color choices and fabric prints come together. The sense of community, inspiration, and creativity has made this journey truly special.

For this year's mystery quilt, we've chosen block designs that work beautifully as borders. I especially love adding house blocks around the edge of a quilt—it gives the finished piece a charming, welcoming touch.

With just one more block to go, now is a great time to reflect on your progress and enjoy piecing together these colorful house blocks. The flying geese technique adds architectural flair to your design, making every block stand out. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or a beginner, there are always new tips and tricks to help improve your process.
