Updated: Jun 23

Welcome back to our Mystery Quilt 2021! We are off to such a good start, since you are now comfortable in making four-patches, I think you are ready for a double four-patch!

For Block 2, you will need: (choose the fabrics from “Perfect Union”) 2 blue fabrics 2 light fabrics

Block A Block B

We will be making 20 total Double Four-Patches: 16 of Block A and 4 of Block B

The cutting directions are as listed below: 32 light squares 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ (Color Option Block A) 5 light strips 1-1/2″ x 20″ (Color Option Block A) 5 blue strips 1-1/2″ x 20″ (Color Option Block A) 8 light squares 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ (Color Option Block B) 2 light strips 1-1/2″ x 20″ (Color Option Block B) 2 blue strips 1-1/2″ x 20″ (Color Option Block B)

Now join me on our YouTube Channel for step-by-step instructions and tips on how to make this block.

Our second blocks will be positioned as shown above in our Mystery Quilt 2021! Notice the position of the blue fabric in the corners.

Please DO NOT start sewing blocks together at this time. We need to complete all blocks before sewing them into a quilt top. We are only laying them out on our design wall at this point.
