With every day on our trip we learned a little bit more about the culture in Indonesia…
… along with their simple lifestyle.
We have the best memories from this trip, including a beautiful sunrise at this enormous temple,
and wonderful light shows in Singapore. All trips must come to an end and we had to say goodbye to Asia.
I could tell that Edyta was dreaming about something new and exciting on our way home.
She was in a “Color Daze” and designed a new line full of beautiful tones for you to create with in September 2015.
As she is spinning the jelly rolls open to make new projects for Spring Market…
… I know that part of her heart was left back in Indonesia where she got the chance to dip her hands in the die and make the batiks.
It is easy to catch her daydreaming about the exotic flowers,
as she is mixing batiks and prints to put her combinations together…
…for simple designs….
… or a quilter’s “Dreamcatcher”.
I hope she will take me along on many, many more trips. I love being there to help carry her bags so she can focus on making beautiful designs for you.
