Welcome back to the last pieced block for our Mystery Quilt 2021!
I am so thankful that I had the honor of quilting with you for the last 12 days!
WE REALLY DID IT! We made it to the last pieced block of our Mystery Quilt. We still have background and borders to do in our next blog, but for today let’s get to our simple and fun Block 12!
For Block 12, you will need: (choose the fabrics from “Perfect Union”) • 1 blue fabric • 1 light fabric
We will be making 12 total Block 12’s.
Edyta’s Important Note: If you are planning to use Triangle Paper for this block, which I will be using in our video today, then you will need to cut three 10″ x 10″ squares of each of the two fabric colors.
The cutting directions are as listed below: • 48 – blue HSTs cut from 24 squares 2-7/8″ • 48 – light HSTs cut from 24 squares 2-7/8″

Our final, twelfth block will be positioned as shown above in our Mystery Quilt 2021!

The Rainbow Option:
For Block 12, you will need: (choose the fabrics from “Linen Texture” or your favorite collection) • 1 teal fabric • 2 light fabrics
Block A Block B
We will be making 12 total Block 12’s: 8 of Block A and 4 of Block B
The cutting directions are as listed below: • 32 – light HSTs cut from 16 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block A) • 48 – teal HSTs cut from 24 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block A and B) • 16 – light HSTs cut from 8 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block B)
Now position your blocks following the picture above.
