Updated: Jun 23, 2021

‘Tis the Season! Christmas is almost upon us, are you ready?

Our new Quilter’s Dozen boxes are a perfect gift this season! This PRE-CUT, 12 block kit can be used for any project such as quilts, table runners, pillows, and so much more! Collect them all!

To make your own star block, you will need the following tools: Quilter’s Dozen Kit (Red, Green, Blue or Blue Sky), Aurifil thread, pins, needles, press, rotary, Bloc-Loc Flying Geese and a Creative Grids ruler.

Start with the Flying Geese units. Arrange two small, red half-square triangles (HST) and one light quarter-square triangle (QST).

Edyta’s Gift Guide: This magnetic spool is on my gift list for everyone! It is so cute and comes in a variety of fun colors!

Pin and sew one side first. Push seam allowance towards the red HST.

Edyta’s Gift Guide: A fresh, new needle makes any project a breeze. Forget the jewelry — I’ll take these shiney Schmetz Needles any day!

Pin and sew the other side. Push seam allowance towards the red. Repeat steps 3 more times.

Edyta’s Gift Guide: A great gift for any perfectionist – our press flattens seams for an ideal block finish.

Trim using your Bloc-Loc Flying Geese ruler and rotary.

Edyta’s Gift Guide: I love this little ruler. It is a perfect stocking stuffer for the quilters in your life!

Now arrange your units around the large, center square with 4 smaller, light squares in each corner.

Sew into three rows.

Then sew the rows together and trim using your ruler and rotary.

Finally, press seams to complete your star.

One star down, eleven more to go!

Sew many cute projects can be made with these 6″ blocks…

Simply sew them all together following the directions in the package and you'll have a beautiful table runner.

Make 3 sets of blocks, add sashing, cornerstones, and a border for a wonderful quilt.

If you planning a border for our upcoming Winter Village Quilt Along in January, 4 sets of Quilters Dozen – Blue Sky will be the perfect match.

I wonder what Santa will putting in your stocking this year…
